As initially introduced on the blog as Wavpacker, I spent about half of December ‘25 expanding on the idea and rebuilding this as wpak which consists of a set of Jai modules in addition to a cli tool.
Part of that redesign involved also trying to release this on it’s own on sourcehut. It should be easier for folks to find this way.
If you felt like contributing to this, that’s great! Be aware though that I work mostly in a private SVN depot and this git repo is just a periodic snapshot so I don’t have a real plan yet how contributions would work. Many people would expect a GitHub repo, but for several reasons that isn’t something I want to do.

Wpak is a jai module and cli tool that can combine a folder of individual wav files into single wav file with a simple to parse index allowing you to easily load them in one go.
